Blood Glucose Support is an advanced Chromium complex which has been optimised with the time-tested botanicals cinnamon, Gymnema Leaf, Bitter Melon Fruit, and Jambolan Seed. Chromium is a trace mineral which is important to the regulation and maintenance of a normal metabolism, and normal levels of blood glucose. It also helps the body to utilise energy from the carbohydrates, fats and proteins we eat.

Gymnema Leaf Extract

Gymnema Silvestre has been used for centuries in traditional Indian medicine as a treatment for diabetes. In fact, the Hindi name for this herb translates to "destroyer of sugar."

Bitter Melon Fruit Extract

Bitter melon, also known as bitter gourd or karela (in India), is a unique vegetable-fruit that can be used as food or medicine. In addition to being a food ingredient, bitter melon has also long been used as an Indian herbal remedy for a range of ailments, including type 2 diabetes.

The fruit contains at least three active substances with anti-diabetic properties, including charanti, which has been confirmed to have a blood glucose lowering effect, vicine and an insulin-like compound known as polypeptide-p.

Jambolan Seed Extract

Jamun is native to India and is known for its medicinal and health benefits, where it is also considered to have positive affects on diabetes. It contains dietary fiber, fats, proteins, various vitamins and minerals. Its seeds are loaded with substances called jamboline and jambosine that slow down the rate of sugar released into the blood and also increase the insulin levels in the body.
